The Ravens needed to get down to 53 players. They did just that Friday night. Once again the Ravens elected to keep two quarterbacks by cutting Curtis Painter. Painter showed a few things in his playing time during the preseason, but the Ravens obviously feel Tyrod Taylor is the better option to back up Joe Flacco. Aside from Painter, here’s the list of players the Ravens cut: Running back Anthony Allen, safety Omar Brown, linebacker Josh Bynes, linebacker Nigel Carr, offensive lineman Jack Cornell, wide receiver Dorian Graham, offensive lineman Cord Howard, nose tackle Nicolas Jean-Baptiste, nose tackle Ishmaa’ily Kitchen, guard Antoine McClain, defensive end Terrence Moore, wide receiver Logan Payne, safety Cyhl Quarles and outside linebacker Chavis Williams. They also terminated the contract of offensive lineman Tony Wragge.
