As Ray Lewis strutted out from the tunnel inside M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon, shimmying from left to right and doing his typical pregame dance routine, the capacity crowd decked out in Black and Purple exploded in excitement.
Lewis’ last dance on the field in Baltimore was an emotional ride that saw Joe Flacco and Andrew Luck exchange ugly passes, Ray Rice fumble twice and Anquan Boldin emerge from the halftime in full Superman attire — even if only figuratively. Yet, the only constant on the day was Lewis’ fantastic play from start to finish, and that should cause some concern for Peyton Manning and his Broncos teammates.
A healthy Lewis alone is a dangerous weapon for any offense to counter, even for a four and maybe soon to be five-time NFL MVP, but add in the emotional charge of impending retirement and the Broncos are on notice.
The Ravens rallied around their emotional leader on Sunday, sacking Luck three times, bringing constant pressure on the rookie and forcing...

In what could be Ray Lewis’s final game as a member of the Baltimore Ravens, the Ravens will take on the Colts in Baltimore. Lewis announced that this season will be his last, so the team will certainly be playing inspired football to keep his career going for at least one more week.
The Colts will also be playing inspired football as Chuck Pagano is back on the sidelines for the...
Ray Lewis announced prior to the Baltimore Ravens’ playoff game against the Indianapolis Colts last weekend that he would be retiring, so most people enjoyed seeing him do his trademark dance one last time. One person who didn’t find it too amusing, though, was Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne.
Wayne found it disrespectful that Lewis did his typical pregame dance, and then came...

The Cincinnati Bengals just suffered another play off loss. Of course Bengals fans are already calling for a GM, new coaches, and another QB. This team, however, is a team on the rise, as most serious football fans can see.Owner Mike Brown and head coach Marvin Lewis have effectively put together a very solid core of young, talented players. Andy Dalton has put up numbers that rival...
The Baltimore Ravens have the home field advantage going into today’s game as they take on the Indianapolis Colts at M & T Bank Stadium. They even have the, albeit slight, emotional edge heading into this one as legendary and sure fire first ballot hall of famer, Ray Lewis said he was going to hang [...]The post Keys To Victory for the Baltimore Ravens appeared first on Queen City Sports.
While Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis is expected to
be back to full-go today against the Indianapolis Colts, safety Bernard
Pollard, wide receiver Tandon Doss and offensive lineman Jah Reid are all
questionable to suit up.
Pollard, Doss and Reid have all been able to practice
throughout the week, but each player has only been able to do so on a limited
basis. Pollard is...

The Ravens’ defense has played well with Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs, Haloti Ngata and Ed Reed all playing together for the first time this season. However, they’ve gotten little help from the offense.
Ray Rice fumbled in the red zone on the Ravens first possession. That ended a promising drive that began at their own 48-yard line.
The Colts returned the favor when Andrew Luck coughed...

Did you know the Colts used to be in Baltimore? I wasn't sure if you noticed that the 1,000 or so times it's been mentioned, and undoubtedly will continued...
The 2012-2013 Indianapolis Colts
I admit it. I wanted the fairy tale ending. I wanted the Colts to come together…powered by #ChuckStrong and with a little bit of luck…and ride that white horse all the way to the Super Bowl. It didn’t happen. A big black raven got in the way and derailed our journey.
But you know what? It’s alright. Maybe it wasn’t a fairy tale, but it was...
