The Baltimore Ravens know a thing or two about the position of linebacker. Ray Lewis is one of the greatest to ever play the game, but there comes a time when a team must start to search for a younger player that can eventually fill the roll. Coming into the 2011 season North Carolina linebacker, Zach Brown, was
The Baltimore Ravens will have their hands full this season when they begin their AFC North title defense this fall. The Ravens’ schedule is statistically the fourth-toughest in the NFL as their opponents had a combined record of 134-122 (.523 winning percentage) last season. Baltimore opens the season by playing their first four games in [...]
Ray Lewis will not be called to testify in defense of Nate Webster, the former NFL linebacker charged with sex and intimidation crimes in Ohio. The Cincinnati Enquirer posted an update today saying the Ravens' Pro Bowl linebacker would not be asked to take the stand. It was never clear why Lewis had be subpoenaed. He and Webster both played at Miami, but not at the same time...

The Baltimore Ravens and quarterback Curtis Painter agreed to a one-year contract.
Financial terms were not disclosed on the deal for the 26-year-old Painter, who will reunite with former coach Jim Caldwell.
Caldwell, who was fired by the Colts, is now the Ravens' quarterbacks coach.
Painter started eight games last season for the Colts, who limped to an awful finish - and...
The Baltimore Ravens have added QB Curtis Painter to the Ravens roster. Starting quarterback Joe Flacco is heading into the final season of his rookie contract and backup QB Tyrod Taylor will be starting his second season with the Ravens in 2012. Painter got the starting nod for the Indianapolis Colts after just a few weeks into the 2011 season but was eventually replaced by Dan...
Mike Preston of the Baltimore Sun writes that LB Sergio Kindle is running the risk of being cut if he doesnt preform up to the Ravens expectations for him during training camp. Kindle, who was drafted in 2010, missed the entire season after he fractured his skull in an accident that happened at his home in Texas. Baltimore was hoping that he going to develop into the perfect...
