The Chicago Bears are bringing running back Kahlil Bell back into the fold with starter Matt Forte out with a high ankle sprain. Bell announced he was back with the team through Twitter. "I'm taking my talents back to Chicago. So happy to be back. Never wanted to leave," he wrote. The Bears also tried out former Miami Dolphin and Houston Texan Steve Slaton on Saturday. Bell, a former undrafted rookie, was cut by Chicago in August after he refused to take a $560,000 pay cut.

Bears Sign RB Kahlil Bell

The Kahili Bell is ringing again in Chicago as the Bears have signed the former UCLA star to help add depth to a depleted running back corps. Bell,a four-year veteran from Santa Rosa, California, refused to sign a $700,000 contract with the team and was released by the team in August. Matt Forte‘s high ankle sprain in week one has opened the door for Bell to return to the club...

Jay Cutler Yells At, Kind of Shoves His Left Tackle J'Marcus Webb During Loss to Packers (Video)

Maybe the Bears should think about putting Jay Cutler on the offensive line. It couldn't hurt after Thursday night's performance in which the Chicago quarterback was sacked seven times, as the Packers pressured him all night en route to a 23-10 win. The pressure eventually got the best of Cutler both in terms of performance -- four intereceptions -- as well as getting under...

The Bears quarterback was caught by cameras dressing down Webb on the sidelines of Thursday night’s game and even chest-bumping the left tackle after telling him “get your f—â...

The Bears need Jay Cutler, but Cutler needs a line

Last night, the Chicago Bears showed us something. They had been talked up around the nation, including by yours truly, and they traveled to Lambeau Field hoping to get a quick jump on their arch rivals, the Green Bay Packers. It didn't work out. Where do we start? The Bears defense held its own most of the game. The Packers' first touchdown came off a gutsy...

Packers CB Charles Woodson Says Bears QB Jay Cutler Is The Same 'Old Jay'

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler might have a new offensive system and new weapons such as Brandon Marshall, but after throwing four interceptions against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday, he's "the same-old Jay," Charles Woodson said according to ESPN Chicago. "Heard some talk out of the Bears: Packers secondary not working coverage, bigger receivers ... we heard...

Vote: Is Jay Cutler the Most Overrated Starting Quarterback in NFL?

There's a surprisingly large number of rookie quarterbacks at the helm early on this football season, and the biggest reason could be the lack of good veteran signal callers. You've got your Tom Brady's, your Aaron Rodgers', your Drew Brees' and your Peyton Manning's, who few would dispute are elite. Beyond that batch, however, the waters are muddy. You'...

Fantasy Football: Is It Worth The Risk For Fantasy Owners Not To Handcuff Top RBs Like Matt Forte With Michael Bush?

My fantasy football team is not off to a good start in one of my leagues. After dropping my opener last week, I watched as Chicago Bears running back Matt Forte limped off the field last night in the loss to the Green Bay Packers. I watched my chances of winning not only that game, but perhaps the next few games, limp away as well. I was already mad that the Bears went with Michael...
