EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. Minnesota Vikings running back Caleb King was arrested and charged with third-degree assault on Saturday and is currently in an Anoka County jail. King was charged with third-degree assault resulting in substantial bodily harm, according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office website. No bail amount was listed. No other details of the arrest were available. A spokesperson said the team was aware of the situation. Vikings general manager Rick Spielman is speaking to the media later Saturday as part of his post-draft press conference and could offer comment then. King, 24, spent most of last season on Minnesota practice squad after signing with the Vikings after going unselected in the NFL supplemental draft.
