RB Rankings – Week Eleven Giovani Bernard looks like an absolute fantasy stud and those in dynasty leagues should go all out to add the tantalizing rookie to their squad. In redraft Bernard is a borderline RB1 only because his weekly workload is always in question with the Bengals staff insisting that they need BJGE to keep Bernard fresh and running at full tilt whenever he is in the game. Bernard comes in as our number eleven overall play at running back this week against a solid but beatable Browns defense. Gio is the eleventh ranked running back so far this season and he is only going to get better as the season progresses. Andre Brown has a stranglehold on the Giants starting running back job and looks like a solid upside RB2 this week against the Packers always questionable run defense. The Packers have consistently been shredded by the more talented larger backs they have faced this season and at 227 lbs Brown should have a solid fantasy day, especially if the Giants can jump ...

Jermaine Gresham a full participant in practice, could play Sunday

The Cincinnati Bengals dropped two games in a row and can't afford to lose another, especially to Sunday's opponent, the AFC North rival Cleveland Browns. As it looks right now, they could see some much needed help on the field with tight end Jermaine Gresham, who injured his groin in their overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens last week.

Crazy Bengals Hail Mary Call From Dave Lapham (Audio)

On Sunday, AJ Green caught a miraculous Hail Mary that helped to tie the game against the Ravens. It was one the craziest plays you will see all year. Former Bengals player Dave Lapham can be heard in the call just yelling over his poor play by play guy Dan Hoard. Too bad for the Bengals that joy was short lived as they lost the game in overtime on the field goal that made their...

Sweeping The Bengals: Can The Browns Pull It Off?

The Browns know the blueprint for beating the Bengals. For the first time in a long while, they also have the personnel to execute that game plan. It could mean the first sweep of the Bengals for the Browns since 2002. The Bengals defense ranks sixth in the NFL giving up 18.6 points per game. They are seventh against the pass at 209.4 yards per game allowed and ninth against the...

IDP Rankings – Week Eleven

IDP Rankings – Week Eleven Mr. Burfict has been absolutely beasting for the Bengals and leads the NFL in total tackles with 103 total tackles already under his belt in 10 games. Vontaze Burfict may take a bit of a step back with Geno Atkins out for the season and leaving an extra man free from the double teams he would command but he has cemented his place among the NFL’s elite...

Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals: Three Bold Predictions

Which Cleveland and Cincinnati teams will we see on the field on Sunday? Will it be the Cincinnati team led by the Andy Dalton who lit up the NFL and won Octobers AFC Offensive player of the month? Or will it be the Dalton we have seen the last two weeks, in games against Miami and Baltimore where he has looked erratic and like the player the has great moments followed by ones he...

Green-Ellis Reveals He's Been Playing with Broken Thumb

Running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis revealed Wednesday he's played with a broken thumb since the second week of the season, as well as coped with an ankle injury, as the running game tries to atone for the poor outing in the 17-6 loss Sept. 29 in Cleveland in which the Bengals running backs carried just 16 times for 50 yards. In the six games since the Bengals have averaged 124...

Bengals look for turnaround against Browns defense

Sixty minutes, 266 yards, 64 plays, zero touchdowns. Those numbers stung the Bengals for a long time. They went to Cleveland for the fourth game of the season and failed to get into the end zone during a 17-6 loss that left them embarrassed. An offense with so many options couldn't even cross the goal line one time. So much went wrong. So much has changed. The Bengals (6-4...

Browns-Bengals Preview

The Cincinnati Bengals are still on top of the AFC North despite back-to-back overtime losses. Another setback this week against the visiting Cleveland Browns would not only see their advantage all but disappear, it would also mark the first time they've been swept in the season series in 11 years. Cincinnati looks to restore its recent domination of its intrastate rivalry...

Giovani Bernard paved his path to NFL

Bengals rookie running back Giovani Bernard remembers it quite vividly. Other than learning of his mother's death at the age of 7, he refers to this moment as the "lowest point of my life." He remembers laying on the turf, wincing in pain, uncertain which direction his career would go. It was his third collegiate practice and his freshman season for the North Carolina...
