@TonySantorsa Will the Patriots experiment with Tim Tebow at H-Back or Tight End? — kevin kelley (@burleykev) June 26, 2013 I’m sure you already know, but Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots are very tight-lipped when it comes to just about anything.  However, I do not see Tim Tebow playing any position other than quarterback.  Why? Because he’s a quarterback. He’s not a tight end, he’s not a running back, he’s not an H-Back and he’s not a personal protector on the punt team.  Tebow’s 40-yard dash time is roughly a 4.71. Granted, that’s pretty fast for a quarterback but it’s not that fast in relative comparison to other players that play other positions other than quarterback.  For instance let’s take a look at Rob Gronkowski’s 40-yard dash time: He clocked in at a 4.68 at the 2010 NFL Combine. How about Jimmy Graham’s? He posted a 4.53.  Quite frankly, Tebow is too slow to be a tight end. Sure, I believe Tebow is extremely athletic and could catch passes—as everyone k

Tim Tebow is Talking Chicken Here!

Against all odds the most popular back-up quarterback in the history of football got a job. There is no telling if he will remain on the roster once training camp gets underway and cuts are made, but that isn't stopping the New England Patriots from making the most of him while he is on the roster (love those merchandise sales, right Mr. Kraft?). Whether Tebow will have a...

Time for Tim Tebow to move to tight end?

Could Tim Tebow wind up becoming fantasy football’s most unique stories of 2013? At the moment, a possible Tebow conversion to tight end is an awkward subject, especially considering Aaron Hernandez was one of his favorite targets during his time at the University of Florida. And the company line from Patriots camp remains that Tebow was brought in to compete for the third-string...

Orlando Sentinel writer says Hernandez arrest good for Tebow

George Diaz of the Orlando Sentinel decided it would be a good idea to write an article about how Aaron Hernandez’s arrest is good news for Tim Tebow at tight end rather than address the seriousness of Hernandez’s case.  Yet again, Tebow finds his way into the media spotlight, despite it not being necessary.  The New England Patriots have already said that they see Tebow...

New England Continues to Raid Rivals

One of the most talked about moves over the NFL post season was the signing of the enigma that is quarterback, Tim Tebow, by the New England Patriots from their divisional rivals, the New York Jets. Now, this seemed a strange move to many analysts and commentators but it is a method and tactic that the Patriots have used before. Here’s a look at five other prominent players who...

Top 10 takeaways from Aaron Hernandez's Arrest

Assume The Position 10) While it seems tacky to talk about the football implications of a murder, it's also the only reason why anyone in the country who isn't related to the victim or suspect gives a damn9) It's really just a shame that Hernandez and Tim Tebow never got to be teammates, since Tebow would have clearly saved lives8) There's no way that the Patriots...

Patriots issue statement on Hernandez's release

Aaron Hernandez was arrested Wednesday morning, more than a week after the body of Odin Lloyd was found near his home in Massachusetts. Less than two hours later the New England Patriots announced that they had released the tight end. On June 17, Lloyd’s body was found about a

Belichick, Kraft should have known better

If a Massachusetts district attorney is to be believed, Bill Belichick's New England Patriots gave one of the dumbest, most despicable people on the planet a $40 million contract. No wonder Robert Kraft is embarrassed. No wonder the Patriots panicked, cutting Aaron Hernandez before he was formally charged with a crime, removing him from the team's website and blocking the...

Bill Parcells: ‘I regret leaving New England’

Bill Parcells, who will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Aug. 3, has one haunting memory from his coaching career: leaving the New England Patriots and the way he handled things with owner Robert Kraft after the 1996 season.

AFC East is Now Up For Grabs--Almost

The day that fans of the Buffalo Bills, New York Jets, and Miami Dolphins have been dying for is finally here--the New England Patriots are vulnerable. No longer is the AFC East Bill Belichick's own private kingdom to do with as he wills. It's a wide open race--or at least it would be if the Jets and Bills had improved any over the years. But the Dolphins though... ...

Judge denies Aaron Hernandez’s request for bail

Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez’s request for bail Thursday was denied, one day after he was charged with first-degree murder and five gun-related charges in the shooting death of 27-year-old Odin Lloyd. Hernandez’s lawyer James Sultan argued that his client should have been freed on bail because he was not at risk to flee and the case against him is...

Jerod Mayo Responds to Hernandez Questions like Bill Would

In an interview with ESPNBoston, Jerod Mayo did his best Bill Belichick impression in response to how the current murder investigation of teammate Aaron Hernandez was affecting the team.
