NFL Trade Rumors:
Jeff Sullivan of DallasCowboys.com reports that there is a “real chance” the Cowboys sign veteran G Brian Waters.
Bryan Broaddus mentions that the idea was discussed last night due to the team’s health issues at the guard position.
Broaddus adds that they are looking at all possibilities at guard and not just Waters.
Waters, 36, last played for the Patriots in 2011. He started all 16 games for them that season, but chose to not play for them in 2012.
Waters lives in Texas, so it would be a convenient option for him if he does in fact want to continue his NFL career.
Nate Livings and Mackenzy Bernadeau are both dealing with injuries, so it appears as though Dallas would live to find some additional help at guard.

Tim Tebow’s future in the NFL has been questioned since the Denver Broncos drafted him with the 25th overall pick in 2010. But Ben Volin of The Boston Globe believes Tebow’s future with the New England Patriots should not be in doubt. In three of the past four seasons, the Patriots have kept just two quarterbacks on the roster. But this season Volin

While many athletes ignore rumors about them to avoid giving phony stories credibility, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant decided to take one straight on. Someone running a now-deleted Twitter account called “NFL_NBA_Groupie” posted photos on Twitter of an alleged text conversation they had with Bryant. The conversation included raunchy talks about urination and strap-ons. [...]
As we speed towards the first preseason contest of 2013, you are hearing every day about guys like David Arkin and Ron Leary pushing through and having a legitimate shot at a starting spot along the offensive line.
Forgive me, but I won't take any of these reports seriously for another several weeks. And perhaps, even then.
We all need to remember a few things about the first...
Ever since teams started reporting to training camp we have been hearing about players that have not been able to practice because they had either enjoyed one too many slabs of ribs or just didn't work out enough. Dallas Cowboys safety Barry Church has been forced to sit out practice due to his eating habits, but not for the same reason as everyone else.
He chipped a tooth...
Dallas Cowboys safety Barry Church missed most of last season after tearing his Achilles tendon. He has fought hard to get back on the field in 2013, but that doesn’t mean a certain hard candy hasn’t tried to stand in his way. Church has been done in by a Jolly Rancher — a cherry one [...]

In the NFL, it is always key to stay in the best shape possible. Whether that means working your butt off in the off-season, eating healthy as possible, or in this case, participating in MMA style fighting. That was exactly the case for Danny Amendola, who in the off-season, worked with Chuck Liddell and Randy Couture to stay in shape. According to the Boston Herald:
