TEAMS: Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers
Monday Night Football was the scene of NFL armageddon as the Green Bay Packers had victory literally stolen from their grasp by the Seattle Seahawks and the NFL's replacement referees. As seen by the picture above from Tim Burke, Green Bay defender M.D. Jennings intercepted Russell Wilson's game ending Hail Mary attempt as Seattle receiver Golden Tate tried to get a piece of the football. Inexplicably, as Jennings possesses the football and Tate tries to place a hand on it, one referee ruled dual possession and a touchdown for Seattle. Another ref ruled an interception. Somehow, a touchdown was called on the field, reviewed, and confirmed!
The replacement refs have been a nightmare for three weeks, but this is the NFL's doomsday scenario. MNF broadcasters Mike Tirico and Jon Gruden brutalized the league and its officials with a dose of serious reality that should make anyone associated with the NFL shameful at what happened tonight. The only time I can remember ...

M.D. Jennings, Golden Tate Both Had Possession of Controversial Packers-Seahawks Touchdown Call
Nearly everyone in the NFL-community is up in arms after Monday night's "blown call" in the Packers-Seahawks game. But maybe it isn't so clear cut. The consensus seems to be that just because Packers safety M.D. Jennings caught the ball in mid-air and clutched it against his chest, that means it's a catch. Unfortunately, it's not until Jennings touches both...
MAKING THE GRADE
Replacement ref didn't make D-I cut?
A report says one of the officials from the Packers-Seahawks debacle wasn't even qualified to ref for Division I college football games.
Packers robbed by the Seahawks, not the refs
By now I am sure have seen or at least heard about how the game ended last night between the Seattle Seahawks and Green Bay Packers. It is not even debatable at this point. The ball was heaved up in the air, and M.D. Jennings clearly made the interception. Yes Golden Tate got his hands on the ball, but to rule it as simultaneous possession is garbage. This call was and...
Refs Blow Call in Packers vs. Seahawks Game, Seahawks Win (Video)
Everyone by now has witnessed the terrible call by the referee in the Packers vs. Seahawks game last night, but I thought I'd throw in my two cents and show you the video one more time. Clearly the worst part of the play is the push right??? That had to be the most obvious penalty of the year so far, and maybe the worst I've ever seen in my days. Yea, Yea I know they...
Aaron Rodgers: I call bull on the NFL
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was mild-mannered during his postgame press conference Monday after the Packers 14-12 controversial loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
However, on Tuesday Rodgers let it all out on his weekly radio show with Jason Wilde on ESPN Milwaukee.
"I think first of all, I've got to do something that the NFL is not going to do and apologize...
Seahawks given win over Packers on controversial Hail Mary
If there was a call by the replacement referees controversial enough to spur a settlement between the NFL and the regular officials, this was it.
The Seahawks were given a 14-12 win over the Packers on Monday Night Football after the referees awarded Seattle wide receiver Golden Tate a 24-yard touchdown catch on the final play of the game though it was clear he didn’t control...
09-25 MD Jennings
Rob and Amy interview MD Jennings of the GreenBay Packers
Seahawks' win won't be overturned
The ruling on the field will stand. The NFL has spoken after the disputed call that gave the Seattle Seahawks a 14-12 victory over the Green Bay Packers on Monday night. Replays indicated that Packers cornerback M.D. Jennings had possession of the pass in the end zone, but referees awarded the catch to Seattle's Golden Tate after the two wrestled for the ball on the turf. One...
Seahawks stun Packers on controversial, last-second TD
SEATTLE -- Green Bay Packers safety M.D. Jennings was explaining that he had the ball pinned to his chest the whole time. He caught it clean. Pulled it in. Was shocked at the call by the referees. While he spoke, his teammates huddled around the small televisions hanging in the visiting team's locker room at CenturyLink Field. The replay of one of the most controversial calls...
Well, the replacement refs finally broke the NFL (PIC & GIFS)
This will be the image that encapsulates the replacement referees’ saga during the 2012 NFL season, and hopefully the play that finally breaks the back on the league’s lockout of the regular refs:

Seahawks Win With Eight Sacks & A Gift From Officials
Perhaps the worst officiating weekend in NFL history culminated in a "successful" Hail Mary attempt by Seattle Monday night in their 14-12 defeat of Green Bay. To see all the officiating blunders, see my run down of the Sunday day games here. The final play was a Hail Mary pass. Green Bay rushed three players. At the last moment before being hit by Clay Matthews, Russell...
Seahawks take down the Packers in a controversial finish
The NFL replacement refs have been the center of conversation for the past couple of weekends, and those conversations will certainly continue after the Seahawks beat the Packers in one of the most bizarre endings of a game you’ll ever see.
Green Bay had a 12-7 lead with less than a minute in the game when they had to punt it back to Seattle. Despite having no time outs, the Seahawks...
