POOR JOHN MCCARGO: Back in the summer, I was kind of making fun of John McCargo because he was generally considered a first-round bust for Buffalo. But he’s been cut and re-signed so many times that he has become a sympathetic character on this team. The latest one happened yesterday when George Johnson was put on IR and the Bucs turned to McCargo to fill the spot. Maybe he’ll make it to Friday this time before they cut him to sign Steve Emtman. And really, how much worse could he make things?
