DC Pro Sports Report:
The Washington Redskins have signed LB Bryan Kehl off waivers from Kansas City. To make room for Kehl, the Redskins released LB Mario Addison, who was signed a few weeks ago off waivers from Indianapolis.
If the name sounds familiar, it should. Kehl was in Washington's 25012 training camp and was among one of the final roster reductions. His touhg play in practices and pre-season games helped keep Kehl around deep into the pre-season. He compiled a team high 17 tackles with 3 pass deflections, 2 sacks, and 1 pick in pre-season for the Redskins. He played three regular season game for the Chiefs this season before being wiaved on November 27.
Kehl will boost depth at Linebacker after rookie 4th round draft pick Keenan Robinson was placed on the season ending injured reserve. Smart move by the Redskins considering his familiarity with the Redskins defensive scheme.

Most of you have probably heard about how Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris gets around by now. Despite earning an NFL salary, Morris still drives the same 1991 Mazda sedan that he bought during his junior year of college at FAU. Morris loves the car and said he is never getting rid of it even if he buys a new one, but the old beater nearly made him miss a recent team...
Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III has won yet another award -- the Pepsi Max NFL Rookie of the Week, for his 20-28 for 311 yards and 4 TD performance in Washington's 38-31 upset victory over the Cowboys in Dallas on Thanksgiving Day. It was Washington's first win in Dallas on Thanksgiving Day.
Grffin also won FedEx Air Player of the Week for that same performance...
Washington WR Pierre Garcon mentioned that he doesn’t expect his troublesome foot to keep him out of any of the team’s remaining games this season.
“I think I’m going to make it through the whole season,” Garcon said, via Chris Russell. “I’ve been dealing with the pain for so long, it’s only getting numb, used to it.”
Garcon is coming off of a very productive...
Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan told the media today that LT Trent Williams and ILB London Fletcher were both limited in practice. The troubling part of Shanahan's statement was that he said both had 'significant' injuries but they would 'keep their fingers crossed' for Monday night. Apparently, Williams is suffering from a bruised thigh and Fletcher from...
HEAD OF THE CLASS
C Will Montgomery. Although RG3, Alfred Morris and Pierre Garcon got all the attention, steady Will Montgomery was the best player on the Redskins offense in week 12. Montgomery has been quietly fantastic all season, until the 31-6 win over Philadelphia, where he had easily the weakest game of his season. He bouned back nicely, though, on Thanksgiving...
Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said linebacker London Fletcher and left tackle Trent Williams both missed a third day of practice with injuries.
Fletcher is nursing a sprained left ankle and Williams is hobbled by a bruised thigh and sprained ankle.
Shanahan said both will continue to be monitored, but no determination has been made on their availability for Monday nights game...
The Washington Redskins officially ended the season of offensive tackle Jammal Brown by placing him on the equivalent of the injured reserve list, Mark Maske and Mike Jones of the Washington Post report. This according to a person familiar with the move.

Former Washington Redskins great Joe Jacoby has been nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Jacoby, who played for the Redskins from 1981-1993 is one of 27 finalists for the Hall of Fame class of 2013. Jacoby started his career at left tackle, but moved to right tackle in the late 1980s after the team acquired LT Jim Lachey in a trade with the Oakland Raiders. Jacoby...

“In this league, you’ve got to prove it. We haven’t proved it. Even though We’ve beaten them two out of the last three times, you still got to prove it. You’ve got to prove it. Even though we’ve matched up well against them, we haven’t matched up against other teams in this league. I can’t argue with him right now. They won the last one, and they’ve got two Super...
Robert Griffin III is one of the most dynamic players to enter the NFL in the last decade, or perhaps, longer. He is on pace to set several rookie records. RGIII is just 62 yards away from setting the NFL rushing record for an NFL quarterback, now held by Cam Newton, from 2010. Where does RGIII stand in passing and rushing? Here you go . . .
Here we go again. It hasn’t even been a full week since jeweler offered to refund money on sales to customers if Auburn was shutout by Alabama, and now we have a car salesman in Washington, DC offering a similar to deal to patrons if the Washington Redskins are able to shutout the New York [...]
