Redskins add QB Matt Gutierrez, cut QB Marc Verica

The Redskins have added a new quarterback, agreeing to terms with four-year veteran Matt Gutierrez, who was waived earlier this week by the Chicago Bears. Gutierrez is an Idaho State product who began his career with the New England Patriots. He has also spent time with Kansas City, Chicago and Omaha of the UFL. Gutierrez has come off the bench and appeared in a total of six NFL games -- one with the Chiefs in 2009 and five with the Patriots in ‘07. He’s 2-of-2 passing for 18 yards. Read full article >>
