The Washington Redskins have announced the re-signing of unrestricted free agent linebacker Bryan Kehl.
Kehl's strength is special teams, and his signing Friday helps soften the blow of the loss of Lorenzo Alexander, the Pro Bowl special teams player who left the Redskins as a free agent this week to sign with the Arizona Cardinals.
Kehl was in training camp with the Redskins last year but was cut before the start of the regular season. He then signed with the Kansas City Chiefs and was waived after appearing in three games.
The Redskins claimed him off waivers in late November, and he played in Washington's final five regular season games as well as the playoff loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

The Washington Redskins entered this off-season coming off their first NFC East Division Championship since 1999. If you are reading that statement but never saw the Redskins play in 2012 you would think they had a complete team and didn’t have many needs. The Skins are cap strapped thanks to the second year of a 18 million dollar salary cap penalty and have had to focus on just...

So you might be wondering, what is Robert Griffin III even doing at an event with former Solicitor General of the United States Ken Starr.
Well, Starr, best known for his several investigations of President Clinton during his presidency, is currently the president of Baylor University.
And of course, RGIII is probably the most famous Baylor graduate currently in the public eye...
When the NFL tells players they will be randomly drug tested at any time in any place, they are not exaggerating. Part of life in the NFL means having to wonder if a collector is going to show up while you’re out having a slice of pizza and demand that you take a pee in front of them. Heck, they might even show up when you’re visiting your grandma. Just ask Washington Redskins...
After his Washington Redskins teammate and friend Lorenzo Alexander signed a new deal with the Arizona Cardinals, London Fletcher used Twitter to vent his frustration and took a shot at the NFL.
@nfl @nflpa would it be a salary cap violation for the @redskins to sign free agents with Monopoly money? #cappenalty #thanks4nothing

While at a Baylor function, Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III photobombed Baylor President Ken Starr. Â Starr was a federal judge and worked on numerous important cases. Â Most notably, Starr was a part of the Council that determined President Bill Clinton had lied under oath about his extramarital affair. Â Unfortunately for Starr, given what I know about society...
'Photo-bombing ' seems to be the big thing among lots of athletes these days. Check out this bomb of Robert Griffin III on Ken Starr (yes, the annoying guy that took several years to finally say that Bill Clinton was not completely honest about the whole Monica Lewinsky scandal).
Nice job RG3; not get that knee healthy!
