The Redskins have come to terms on a deal on a two-year contract with punter Sav Rocca, a person with knowledge of the situation confirmed.
The 39-year-old punter just completed his second season with the team. Financial terms of the contract, which still must be signed, werent immediately available.
Rocca made it through last season despite playing with a torn meniscus in his right knee, and he had surgery this offseason to repair it. Despite his injury, Rocca averaged a career-high 43.9 yards per punt in 2012.
