Barry Cofield's mood has improved, even though the Washington Redskins' losing streak is one game longer.
A week after he feared the season would turn ''historically ugly,'' the defensive tackle saw enough in a 27-24 overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys to feel that the Redskins won't be a shield-your-eyes train wreck the rest of the way.

Redskins safety LaRon Landry (Achilles) and three offensive linemen are questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys, Coach Mike Shanahan said.
Jammal Brown, Sean Locklear and Maurice Hurt are all dealing with injuries and if they can’t play, the Redskins face some big questions along the offensive line. If Brown and Locklear are unavailable, rookie Willie Smith would be...

All Mike Shanahan wanted to talk about Sunday after the Washington Redskins' sixth consecutive loss — his longest slide as an NFL head coach and the franchise's worst run under owner Dan Snyder — was the "poise" and "effort" of his players.
Have The Cowboys Taken The Redskins Seriously? It seems like the second game against Washington means something big every year. Last season, Jason Garrett was trying to prove he was the man for the Head Coaching job. In 2009, it was Dallas’ ticket to the playoffs. In 2008, it was Tony Romo’s return to the field after a four-week hiatus in which a win was necessary for the Cowboys...
Washington safety LaRon Landry is out with an Achilles injury for Sunday's tilt against the Dallas Cowboys, but offensive tackle Jammal Brown should be able to play barring a late setback.
