Redskins cut OL Mike Williams

The Washington Redskins have officially terminated the contract of offensive lineman Mike Williams, the team announced today. Williams was out of football all of last season after doctors discovered blood clots near his heart. Williams, the fourth overall pick of the 2002 draft, spent he first four seasons of his career with Buffalo. He signed with Jacksonville in 2006, but never played a game.
