Redskins defensive end Jarvis Jenkins announced on Twitter that he had been medically cleared to play. "Officially was cleared earlier today to play ball again," Jenkins tweeted. "God is good now it's def time for football!!" Selected with the 41st overall pick of the 2011 NFL Draft out of Clemson, the 6-foot-4, 310-pound Jenkins suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during the Redskins' third preseason game and spent the entire season on injured reserve. After coming off the bench in the first two games of the preseason, Jenkins had started the game he was injured and had been pushing for a starting job when the regular season opened. The Redskins begin their off-season workout program on Monday and Jenkins' ability to participate could allow him to push for a starting job this summer. Jenkins will be competing against the recently re-signed Adam Carriker for the starting job opposite Stephen Bowen.

The Washington Redskins cheerleaders, the First Ladies, are celebrating their 50th year in existence this upcoming season (although strangely no one has remained on the squad for the entire time) and as part of the final selection process for the team, the Redskins made the final auditions public (and sold tickets because hey, they aren't a charity—and SOMEONE has to pay the...

Jabar Gaffney goes off on his soon-to-be ex-wife, Lito Sheppard over Twitter
Jabar Gaffney’s marriage does not seem to be in a good place if the tweets sent from his verified Twitter account are any indication. Thursday was apparently his anniversary with his wife, but he says she was not around. Based on a tweet he sent last Saturday, his wife is messing with free agent cornerback Lito Sheppard, who is also Gaffney’s cousin. Below is a censored version...

Washington Redskins WR Jabar Gaffney is having a bad day. Jabar Gaffney (Idiot) Goes Off On His Hoe Soon To Be Ex-Wife And His Cousin Lito Sheppard (He Sucks)
Jabar Gaffney may have officially lost it. Maybe he just found out that his NFL career has been as impressive as my short stint to the New York Sports Club last month, or maybe he found his cousin, former Philadelphia Eagle/New York Jets/Oakland Raider CB Lito Sheppard banging his (soon to be ex) wife, Terin Gaffney. Who knows? But what we do know is that Jabar went OFF on his cousin...

- I wondered yesterday whether Redskins fans would ever express their RGIII loinfire away from the tidy confines of their obnoxious vanity license plates. The answer came but hours later, when a guy attending Monday Night Raw held aloft a giant RGIII head. Then Jim Irsay came out and said he was drafting RGIII for Team Smackdown, then Brock Lesnar ran out to deliver the F5 on him...

Baylor University quarterback Robert Griffin III is visiting the Washington Redskins at their headquarters on Tuesday, Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com reports. Griffin participated in some of the drills at...
