NFL Injury Report:
The Washington Redskins were without cornerback DeAngelo
Hall yesterday, as the veteran was sporting a walking boot on his injured right
ankle. X-rays were inconclusive, but the Redskins will likely be without Hall for
at least a few days as a result of the injury, according to Tarik El-Bashir of
The Redskins will put Hall through further testing to
determine the extent of the injury. This will sideline him for another “few”
days, according to a team source.
Hall suffered his ankle injury when he was back-pedaling to
cover Skye Dawson. Following a hard cut by the wide receiver, Hall rolled his
ankle while attempting to retain his coverage.
In place of Hall, the Redskins used rookie David Amerson
with the first team defense. It’s hard to say what to expect from Hall until
the extent of the damage done to his ankle is determined, which could take a
few days to be announced.

Carriker will likely be placed on IR for the 2nd straight year The horrible news came out a few days ago that Washington Redskins left defensive end Adam Carriker will miss 4 or 5 months with a third surgery within 10 months on his bothersome right quadriceps that he tore week two last year versus the St Louis Rams. I have to think that this will mean Carriker will be put on injured...
We aren’t sure if Georgia Poole can lay claim to be the oldest living Washington Redskins fan in the world at the age of 99, but it is going to be tough to disprove it, as she made her way to the team’s training camp. Oh, and this is not just some old school fan who only remembers the days of ‘Slinging’ Sammy Baugh. Nah, she’s a full-fledged Robert Griffin III groupie....
By time the 6th-round of this past NFL draft came around, a draft steal in my opinion fell right into the lap of the Washington Redskins. 6-foot safety from the Georgia Bulldogs, Bacarri Rambo fell back in the draft because of off the field problems, and Washington took the risk. The hard-hitting safety has a great opportunity to start at the free safety position, which has been...
There is a couple of guys I am trying to target in all my drafts this season. One of those guys is definitely Pierre Garcon. Not too many WRs will be hanging around in the 6th round or later. Garcon is the clear #1 target in the Redskins offense and if his health holds up, he will be flying under moon shots thrown by RG3.
He has been lighting it up at camp, so all indications...
Under the leadership of rookie QB Robert Griffin III and the sensational play of rookie RB Alfred Morris, the Washington Redskins roared through the second half of the 2012 NFL and captured the NFC East division title. A key piece of the Redskins’ offense last season was wide receiver Pierre Garcon. The speedy Garcon provides the Redskins with a legitimate deep threat but can Washington...
Veteran linebacker Nick Barnett has agreed to a one-year deal with the Washington Redskins.
Barnett agreed to sign late Wednesday after two days of workouts with the team.
The Redskins were looking for depth at linebacker after backup Keenan Robinson torn his left pectoral muscle on the opening day of training camp.
Barnett has played 10 NFL seasons, eight with the Green Bay Packers...

According to beat writer Zac Boyer, Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon has been the team's most reliable receiver in training camp and has erased concerns about the torn tendon in his foot that he suffered last season and the offseason surgery he had to repair a torn labrum.Fantasy Spin:Garcon led the Redskins with 633 yards receiving in just 10 games last season and could have...
Washington Redskins coach Mike Shanahan has been around for quite some time. He has been coaching in the NFL since the mid-1980s and won three Super Bowls as a head coach in the ’90s, so I guess you could say he is cut from the old school. But the man is only 60, so you [...]
