With Monday nights win the Washington Redskins remain in contention for a NFC Wild Card spot and still have a chance to win the NFC East at 6-6. The loss drops the Giants to 7-5. The Giants were a three point favorite entering the game. The over/under or total points was set at 50 for the contest. New York won the contest between the two teams in Week 7, thus the two teams end with a split series this season. The stats for both teams were close but the Giants dominated in two categories, time of possession and penalties.
