It was an eyesore more than a win, but a victory nonetheless for the Washington Redskins, who defeated the St. Louis Rams 9-7 despite not scoring a touchdown. The Redskins went 0-for-4 in the red zone and lost the ball on downs with 1:58 remaining. Starting at his own 4, St. Louis quarterback Marc Bulger threw four incompletions and the Redskins ran out the final 92 seconds. Shaun Suisham field goals of 21, 28 and 23 yards made the difference.
