Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said Monday that linebacker London Fletcher, the team’s captain, is nursing a strained hamstring and the Redskins won’t know about his playing status until later this week. Shanahan said that contrary to a newspaper report, wide receiver Pierre Garcon does not have a torn tendon in his injured toe, only inflammation. The receiver continues to be monitored.
