A team in disarray returns to Washington with an array of new problems. The Panthers picked their first win of the season, beating the Redskins 20-17 Sunday at Bank of America Stadium. The Redskins lost left tackle Chris Samuels, a six-time Pro Bowler, whose status for next week was not immediately certain; their offense totaled just 198 yards; quarterback Jason Campbell was sacked five times; and the officiating crew did the Redskins few favors. In fact, the game spun on a controversial call midway through the fourth quarter, with the Redskins holding onto a 17-12 lead. (In the opening minute of the final quarter, John Kasay connected on a 43-yard field goal to cut the Redskins lead to just five.) On a Panthers' punt, the Redskins' returner Antwaan Randle El signaled for a fair catch but he never had a chance at the ball. A teammate was shoved into Randle
