This isn’t a team that soaks up the down-time.
After the Week 1 victory over the Giants, the players declined a Victory Monday. Every Tuesday morning–a league-wide day off–has seen many players show up to watch tape and lift weights.
At this afternoon’s All-Star Survivor Celebration, safety Reed Doughty was in the building to support his “Team Captain” wife. He looked oddly out of place in a sea of pink-clad ladies, and seemed to be itching for something to do.
“They better give me something to do quick,” he said with a smile, “or I’m gonna go eat and watch film.
