Short on bodies at the tight end position, the Washington Redskins have re-signed Dominique Byrd nearly a month after they waived him.
Byrd, a third-year pro, spent roughly three weeks with the Redskins earlier this season, but never appeared in a game. He was slotted behind Fred Davis, Logan Paulsen and Mike Sellers. The USC product appeared in one game for the Seattle Seahawks this season but didn’t record a catch.
