According to ELIAS, the Washington Redskins rookie combo of Alfred Morris and Robert Griffin III have a chance to break the NFL rookie rushing record this year: Elias: Redskins Alfred Morris & RG3 have combined for 1,820 rush yards, 153 shy of ’79 Cardinals record for most combined rookie rush yards. Just think about that for a second. That is not just a franchise record, that is an NFL record that has stood for 34 years and looks to be attainable by the next game, and if not then certainly before the season ends. The fact that the Redskins have these two young players who are able to contribute so heavily in the offense just by themselves is amazing to think about as a fan.
