In his 10th NFL game, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III set the franchise record for completions by a rookie.
The No. 2 overall pick of the draft, Griffin connected with fullback Darrel Young for a six-yard touchdown pass his 173rd completion of the season.

Years ago in the NFL, when Thanksgiving Day came it always meant that the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys would be playing each other. The schedule has always reflected of having the two teams play each other either on Thanksgiving Day or the week of Thanksgiving or right around Thanksgiving. 2012 will renew that traditonal Turkey Day game between the Redskins and Cowboys...

Redskins QB Robert Griffin III dropped back to pass and, as the pocket closed around him, he calmly fired a frozen rope of a pass to the outside shoulder of TE Logan Paulsen, who hauled the ball in and twisted in the defender's arms into the end zone.
