It appears Moss is going the T.O. route with his finances.
It isn’t unusual for entertainers and athletes to just stop paying on houses they don’t want and let the bank take control of the property. Hopefully that is the case with Moss.
The home of Washington Redskins wide receiver Santana Moss has been flagged for foreclosure, according to the South Florida Business Journal.
The website reports that Moss has gone into default on a mortgage for a Lighthouse Point house issued to the wide receiver for $3.64 million in 2006. They also report that the IRS has filed a $258,017 tax lien against Moss concerning his 2006 taxes.
Moss most recently signed a three-year, $15 million contract this July that contained a $5 million signing bonus. Moss had earned roughly $53 million in salary and bonuses prior to this season.
