The Wshington Redskins added another new face to their secondary on Friday, after signing former Vikings cornerback Cedric Griffin to a one-year, $2.5 million deal, per Josina Anderson of ESPN.
Griffin is big enough and versatile enough that the Redskins could play him at safety as well as corner.
This past season, Griffin recorded 67 tackles, 3 forced fumbles and 1 interception.
