Veteran punter Hunter Smith, who has a groin injury, might miss this week's game against the Carolina Panthers, so the Redskins plan to audition possible replacements Tuesday at Redskins Park, Coach Jim Zorn said today. "His MRI came out decent," Zorn said. "He's got a pulled groin. It's not severe, but it is going to possibly keep him from participating. We're going to take him as we go through the week. "We are going to bring a couple of punters in and work them out. I can't say it's a day-to-day thing. It may look like he's out. I don't know that for sure." In Sunday's 16-13 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Smith was injured on his first punt in the first half.
