The Washington Redskins worked out veteran offensive tackle Chester Pitts, according to a league source. Pitts, 32, is a former Houston Texans starter who started five games last season for the Seattle Seahawks. A former second-round draft pick from San Diego State, Pitts underwent microfracture knee surgery after hurting his right knee two years ago when he was with the Texans. He signed with the Seahawks last year.

Hall: I’d Rather They Finger-Point At Me

AP Image Losing in the NFL usually leads to the proverbial finger-pointing by media and fans to figure out “Who done it?”  After Sunday’s loss to the Cowboys, Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall jumped the route on the situation and put the blame squarely on his own shoulders. His conclusion was, that for his cost vs. provided value, he would cut himself from the...

LaRon Landry says he’s ready to play Sunday

Washington Redskins strong safety LaRon Landry said his strained left Achilles’ tendon feels better this week after he sat out Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. Morning links: Getting Rice more involved

The Seahawks accomplished something they’ve been working on all year the past three weeks, rushing for over 100 yards the past three games.
