According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, the Washington Redskins are making a big push to re-sign free agent linebacker London Fletcher before Monday’s offseason workouts begin.
Fletcher is a fan favorite and veteran that has proven to be quite durable, despite the fact that he’s in his late 30′s.
Fletcher racked up an impressive 166 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and 2 interceptions in 2011.

Jabar Gaffney’s marriage does not seem to be in a good place if the tweets sent from his verified Twitter account are any indication. Thursday was apparently his anniversary with his wife, but he says she was not around. Earlier today, Washington Redskins WR Jabar Gaffney blew a fuse on Twitter. Apparantly his “soon to be ex-wife” has left him on their anniversary, and it might have something to do with former Raiders/Eagles DB Lito Sheppard. Check em’ out!

The Washington Redskins have officially announced they’ve signed free agent safety Tanard Jackson, who was just released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for failing a team physical.
Jackson is a talented young player, but he’s somehow gotten worse over the past few seasons instead of better.
Jackson has made 147 tackles, 20 assists and has missed 54 tackles in 40 games, per ProFootballFocus...
According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, New England Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker, will likely sign his franchise tender and play out this season under the tag.
Welker will make just over $9 million for the 2012 season under the franchise tag, which is a lot more than he’s made during any year of his career so far.
