This was not a game very many people cared about besides in terms of fantasy points.  These are two struggling teams trying to avoid being last place in the AFC East. With Miami's victory today, it leaves both teams at 5-9. Buffalo has now lost their 7th straight. Way to go Buffalo! It's really good to see that multi-million dollar contract Ryan Fitzpatrick signed being put to good use!  Not.

It was a familiar Buffalo atmosphere today with some snow falling at Ralph Wilson this afternoon. Although, Miami is no stranger to the traditional North East visit for their three division rivals.

Buffalo did get on the board first with a nice long 24-yard TD scamper by second-year back C.J. Spiller, who went on to have a career game. Spiller ended up running for over 90 yards and receiving for over 70, with a pair of TD"s. However, Miami's Reggie Bush wasn't so thrilled that Spiller was getting all of the attention. He too had a career game with over 200 yards rushing with a touchdown. Hopefully all of you out in their in fantasy world started these guys if you had them.

Wide receiver Brandon Marshall also had a very fine game in which he managed 85 yards; one being a 65-yard toss from quarterback Matt Moore. Moore has proved himself to be a very viable option for this Miami team this season. Moore also had a 26-yard throw to tight end Anthony Fasano for a score as well. Buffalo's defense would continue to disappoint.

Kicker Dave Rayner missed a crucial field goal right before the half which put a damper on things. Rayner has made it known why he isn't a starting kicker for a football team.

In the latter part of the second half, Buffalo realized they were playing professional football and stepped up a bit. Just a little bit. Fitzpatrick had a nice little pass to Spiller in the 4th quarter who took it 20+ yards for his second score of the game. After Bush's 76-yard dash to make it 30-13, Fitzpatrick was able to find Derek Hagan for a score, lessening the damage. They also managed to tack on another field goal which was the final score of 30-23.

Buffalo scored 16 points in the 4th quarter alone.

Fitzpatrick was 31-for-44, 316 yards, 2 TD's, and three picks. Moore was 10-for-20 with 217 yards, 2 TD's, and zero picks.

Miami's Todd Bowles's debut as interim head coach turned out to be a success. While Buffalo's Chan Gailey appears to be slipping at his position which he has not had very long. Time will tell where these coaches' futures wind up.

The fight to avoid last place in this division is in full effect.
