Many teams deny the entertaining Hard Knocks TV show because owners and coaches feel it is a distraction and players would lose focus because of all the media attention. It seems as if Reggie Bush and the Miami Dolphins players didn’t benefit from the show either.
“I don’t think guys were in favor of it, but we used it to our best advantage and just had fun with it and made the most of it (and) tried to continue to play football,” said Bush. “I don’t think it helped us. I guess, if anything, it was a great show. I think they do a great job at capturing just what it takes to be in the NFL, to go through an NFL season and training camp, the business side of things, sports side of things. I think that’s great for fans. I think, for football players, I don’t think it makes or breaks us. I think a lot of guys probably prefer not to have the show around because then you kind of have to watch what you say and how you act, speak differently and walk differently.”
For the NFL fans, Har...

The Miami Dolphins returned to the practice field on Wednesday and it appears a number of injured players will be able to play on Sunday against the Jets. The Dolphins welcomed Daniel Thomas, Richard Marshall, Anthony Armstrong, and Marlon Moore back to the practice field on Wednesday. Richard Marshall, the Dolphins starting cornerback opposite Sean [...]
The Miami Dolphins rebounded nicely after a rough opening week loss to the Texans. The Dolphins played an even first half against the Raiders before Reggie Bush and Ryan Tannehill led them to a blowout win in the second half. The Dolphins season seemed lost after the blowout loss to the Texans, whom many ‘experts’ [...]
We have presumably heard the last of the drama surrounding free agent wide receiver Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada.

DAVIE, Fla. As many saw on Hard Knocks, Ryan Tannehill is hardly a flamboyant guy.
Hes tweeted once since July 20, and that was to simply to display a picture of a product that helps keep him cool in the Florida sun. When Tannehill was asked earlier this week what Dolphins fans say to him when hes out in public, he said, I dont go out much. I stay home.
Maybe the Miami rookie...
DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -- Miami Dolphins linebacker Kevin Burnett is sidelined by a foot injury, raising doubts about his availability for Sunday's game against the New York Jets.
Burnett was added to the injury report Thursday, when he did not practice. He missed much of training camp with a back injury but started the Dolphins' first two games.
Reserve defensive tackle Tony...
While my colleagues have focused their efforts on covering the Dolphins matchup against the Jets and the return of Daniel Thomas, I thought it would be cool to explore the idea of re-signing the Dolphins best weapon on the team, Reggie Bush.Consequently, Jeff Ireland got Reggie Bush in a trade for Jonathan Amaya and a 6th rounder. Reggie was a first round pick of the draft that...
DAVIE, Fla. Theres a guy wearing green who Wednesday actually put the Dolphins and playoffs in the same sentence.
No, not the Dolphins shade of green, the Jets one. The surprising declaration came from New York quarterback Mark Sanchez.
If he plays well, that team can make it to the playoffs, Sanchez said about Miami rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill.
So now we have yet another...
During Sunday’s game against the Oakland Raiders at Sun Life Stadium, beleaguered Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland had an awkward (and what eventually turned into a regrettable) interaction with a fan while walking around the concourse at halftime. While the Dolphins would ultimately beat the Raiders on that given Sunday, many in the Dolphins [...]
Miami running back Daniel Thomas has passed concussion tests and was back at practice on Wednesday.Fantasy Spin:Rookie Lamar Miller served as Reggie Bush's backup last week, but neither Miller or Thomas has any fantasy value while Bush is playing at such a high level.
Miami running back Daniel Thomas (concussion) is probable to play in Week 3.Fantasy Spin:Thomas sat out last week, giving rookie Lamar Miller a chance to make his NFL debut. Miller rushed for 65 yards on 10 carries but only because Reggie Bush laid waste to Oakland's defense, allowing Miami to rest him in the fourth quarter. Neither Thomas nor Miller is a fantasy option at this...
Another week in the NFL is in the books on the young 2012 season and already we have seen some monster performances, as well as spectacular let downs. The AFC saw dominating wins from the likes of the Houston Texans and the Miami Dolphins, so it should come as no surprise that they both featured a player that was named an AFC Player of the Week on each side of the ball.
On the offensive...
The Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders announced they have avoided blackouts, and their home games on Sunday will be televised locally. The San Diego Chargers' home game against Atlanta pitting a pair of 2-0 teams, will be blacked out in the San Diego area. More than 9,000 tickets were reportedly still available at the deadline. The Dolphins and Raiders aren't necessarily...
