Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush got the last word in a feud with New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie on Wednesday after Cromartie called Bush a punk who showed "his true colors" following the Dolphins 30-9 victory over the Jets. “I’ve been called a lot of things, but not a punk,” Bush said with a laugh on Wednesday. “I don’t feel like I did anything illegal. I didn’t try to hurt him. I didn’t talk about hurting him or ending his career or anything like that. What I did was perfectly within the rules, and if he didn’t like it, it’s tough. That’s football. I’ve been on the side of some ugly stuff. The last thing I’m going to do is cry about it and call somebody a punk." Bush took offense to Rex Ryan's comments in Week 3 when the Jets coach said the defense needed to put "hot sauce" on the playmaker.  Bush hurt his knee in the game and thought the Jets were trying to hurt him.  Bush also said following the the game that it was karma that Darrelle Revis is now out for the season with an ACL injury. After hearing Bush's comments Cromartie responded with, “I ain’t going to say what I really want to say about Reggie Bush. For him to come out and say something like that, it’s unprofessional, and not showing any sportsmanship at all.” “To me, there’s no such thing as karma. It was a freak accident,” Cromartie said of Revis’ injury. “No one touched him. He turned his knee the wrong way. It’s football.” Cromartie added that he could “really could care less” about Bush’s comments. “You can’t get into the back and forth. You just got to go out and play, let your words speak in between the lines. That’s what I’m all about this year. Make sure I play the right way, within the rules." Bush finished his response to Cromartie and the Jets on Wednesday with, “If they don’t like me, I guess, tough."
