Miami Dolphins running back Reggie Bush got the last word in a feud with New York Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie on Wednesday after Cromartie called Bush a punk who showed "his true colors" following the Dolphins 30-9 victory over the Jets. “I’ve been called a lot of things, but not a punk,” Bush said with a laugh on Wednesday. “I don’t feel like I did anything illegal. I didn’t try to hurt him. I didn’t talk about hurting him or ending his career or anything like that. What I did was perfectly within the rules, and if he didn’t like it, it’s tough. That’s football. I’ve been on the side of some ugly stuff. The last thing I’m going to do is cry about it and call somebody a punk." Bush took offense to Rex Ryan's comments in Week 3 when the Jets coach said the defense needed to put "hot sauce" on the playmaker.  Bush hurt his knee in the game and thought the Jets were trying to hurt him.  Bush also said following the the game that it was karma that Darrelle Revis is now out for the season with an ACL injury. After hearing Bush's comments Cromartie responded with, “I ain’t going to say what I really want to say about Reggie Bush. For him to come out and say something like that, it’s unprofessional, and not showing any sportsmanship at all.” “To me, there’s no such thing as karma. It was a freak accident,” Cromartie said of Revis’ injury. “No one touched him. He turned his knee the wrong way. It’s football.” Cromartie added that he could “really could care less” about Bush’s comments. “You can’t get into the back and forth. You just got to go out and play, let your words speak in between the lines. That’s what I’m all about this year. Make sure I play the right way, within the rules." Bush finished his response to Cromartie and the Jets on Wednesday with, “If they don’t like me, I guess, tough."

Jets players or the coaching: What’s more alarming?

The good news for the New York Jets is that they cannot embarrass themselves on the field this week. Bye weeks generally guarantee that. The bad news is, well, everything else surrounding this team. The Offense -The offense can’t move the ball and can’t get in the end zone. It’s one of those nightmares that for some reason, you can’t wake up from. It has come to the point...

Rex Ryan: “Offensively, the problems aren’t one man”

Every game the Jets lose deeper into the season, the stronger the Tim Tebow vs. Mark Sanchez debates heat up.  For the past three season, Jets fans are not used to being 3-5 at this time of the season and feeling low going into a bye week.  I was at the game yesterday, and when the offense was still sputtering in the third quarter and Mark just threw yet another incomplete...

NFL Midseason Report Card 2012: New York Jets

How would you grade the 2012 NFL midseason report card for the New York Jets? Is there a grade low enough? Do they deserve an F? After all, they are only one game below .500 this season. So, would a failing grade be fair? I think a more realistic grade for the Jets through the half way point in the 2012 NFL season may be that of an incomplete. As in, the Jets are an incomplete team...

New York Jets: Week 9 NFL Power Rankings (#24)

Last week: 24 (-1) Record: 3-5 I have no idea why they haven’t benched Mark Sanchez for Tim Tebow yet. Mark Sanchez is completing 53% of his passes. Only Brandon Weeden has a worse adjusted QB rating. The team is 3-5. They brought Tebow in to be an alternative for Sanchez if he struggled right? Well he’s struggling right now. What was the point of bringing him in if you’re...

Jags coach: No truth to Tebow talks

The Jacksonville Jaguars are back in the middle of Tim Tebow talks again. Though this time, they say the reports are not true. Bills Plan To Find A Young Franchise QB

When the Bills made the decision to lockup QB Ryan Fitzpatrick to a seven-year, $62 million contract after only a 4-2 start to the 2011 season, it was met with some warranted concern. Since then, Fitzpatrick has lead them to a 5 – 12 record that was highlighted by a completed unacceptable interception that cost them a win over the Titans. Bills GM Buddy Nix seemed to suggest...
