Feelings about Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid vary wildly among Eagles fans and can be a topic of contentious debate. Some feel that Reid simply does have what it takes to get the team the Lombardi trophy the franchise has long awaited. Others look at Reid’s overall winning record with the Eagles and their frequent playoff appearances and seven division titles as proof that Reid has been a success and is the right coach for this team. Regardless of which side you find yourself, if you are a fan of the team you were disgusted with much of what you saw in the 2011 season. How could all of the that talent on Philadelphia’s roster do so little? Frustrations boiled over in late November when the Eagles put in a humiliating performance in the Week 12 38-20 loss at home against the Patriots. Philadelphia fans had had it and let their feelings be known. And heard. “Fire Andy” chants filled the stadium. Reid appeared on “Rome” with Jim Rome and was asked if he had heard the chants ...
