San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis likely will play in Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals despite sustaining a concussion last weekend, CSN Bay Area's Matt Maiocco reported. Davis will spend much of this week going through the NFL's concussion protocol before it's determined whether he can play against the Arizona Cardinals in San Francisco's regular-season finale. The San Francisco receiving corps could use Davis, as the team will be without Mario Manningham and Kyle Williams. Manningham sustained tore the anterior cruciate ligament and posterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during the Sunday night loss to the Seahawks in Seattle, and he's out until next season. Williams underwent season-ending surgery Dec. 5 to repair a torn ACL in his left knee. Davis has become a non-factor in the San Francisco offense in recent weeks.
