Pete Carroll: What goes around comes around

Seahawks fans will continue to stand behind Pete Carroll as in their minds, no way did he cost the Seahawks the game by icing the kicker and calling a time out. Looking back, it’s exactly what happened. Sure, the Seahawks defense allowed the Atlanta Falcons to get into field goal range with ease. With only 30 seconds remaining the defense should have been able to get the job done...

Pete Carroll says the Seahawks need more pass rushers

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll told the media in his closing press conference that they need to add more pass rushers in the offseason. “We need another pass rusher,” Carroll said. “We really do. That’s why we went out and got Jason (Jones) last year. And we’re going to have to double it up. We need a couple of guys.” Bruce Irvin was a great draft pick, but...

Playoff traditions: Second guessing Pete Carroll

Where it all went wrong for Seattle against Atlanta Alright Seattle Seahawks fans, it’s time to step back from the ledge and do what we do best; point the finger at who cost us a shot at Lombardi’s trophy. And for this, we have to start at the top—head coach Pete Carroll. Yes, it’s true that the Hawks fared far better than pre-season expectations. And yes, it’s true that...

Funny Tweets about Seahawks Coach Pete Carroll

On Sunday Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll iced the kicker and it backfired as Matt Bryant missed the first kick but made the second giving the victory to the Falcons. Overlooked in all of this is the fact that the Seahawks D allowed the Falcons to march down and get into field goal range quicker than it takes to set and forget a Ronco Rotisserie cooker chicken. As you can imagine...

Seattle Seahawks: The Magical Run Ends in Atlanta

The Seattle Seahawks dream season has now come to an end with a 30-28 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. The Seahawks gave it their all after falling behind at halftime 20-0 due to some questionable play calling by head coach Pete Carroll and a fumble by running back Marshawn Lynch.Lynch could not have picked a worse time to fumble with the Seahawks already trailing 3-0. Wilson impresses again in battle with Falcons

ATLANTA For the Seahawks, spinning it forward seemed simpler than looking back. As Pete Carroll and his players were quick to point out, over and over again: "The future is bright." And it is. But for a wall-to-wall affair that will ultimately be remembered for Falcons kicker Matt Bryant's 49-yard game-winning field goal, the Seahawks' 30-28 loss in the NFC Divisional...
