Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is hopeful he can return from his rib and shoulder injury Dec. 2 against the Baltimore Ravens. But Steelers doctors believe he will likely miss three weeks, reports Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Roethlisberger has been ruled out to play Sunday night against the Ravens and isn't expected to play next sunday at Cleveland.
Last week Roethlisberger's rib injury on his right side was reported that it threatened his aorta, now doctors believe the greater threat is to surrounding arteries, vessels and soft tissue.
The Steelers will get running back Rashard Mendenhall and safety Ryan Clark back for Sunday night.
