The New York Giants had a few problems Sunday night in Dallas, but there is no debating which issue did them in the most. That was, without question, the team’s inability to protect the football, especially when it came to the running backs. The Giants fell to the Cowboys in primetime at Jerry World, but Big Blue certainly had its chances. The Giants lost three fumbles en route to six turnovers in the loss to the Cowboys. Two of those fumbles came from David Wilson who has been more than fumble-prone in his short NFL career. That inability to protect the football apparently has the Giants getting desperate even just a week into the season. CBS Sports NFL reporter Jason La Canfora reported via Twitter on Monday morning that the Giants are looking into other options from outside the organization.
