Found February 11, 2014 on NFL Trade Rumors:
Brandon Krisztal of the Denver Post reports that a source close to Broncos DT Terrance Knighton has informed him that Knighton and his representatives believe he has outperformed his contract and are looking for a new deal. Knighton, 27, signed a two-year contract worth $4.5 million and will make $1.5 million for the 2014 season. He came up big for the Broncos in the AFC Championship game against the Patriots totaling four tackles, two of which came for a loss, and a crucial sack that had a big impact on field position. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 9 defensive tackle in the league this past season and graded out almost as good as an interior pass rusher as he did in run defense, which is really something for a guy of his size. I’m sure the Broncos would be willing to discuss an extension if their cap situation was better than it currently is. As things stand right now, Denver is projected to have over $12 million in cap space, but they also have a number of key free a...

Top 10 Free Agent QBs: Could any help bolster Broncos?

Are the Denver Broncos in the market for a backup quarterback? Currently, it’s Peyton Manning and “no plan B,” as John Elway said in 2012. Or, maybe he meant to say there’s a “plan Brock” behind Manning at the most important position on the team. Last Wednesday, in our weekly mailbag, a fan asked if Brock Osweiler is ready to take over for Mr. Manning in the case that...

Anquan Boldin could be a cheap replacement for Eric Decker in Denver

Eric Decker is going to command a pretty penny in free agency, after he caught 87 passes for 1,288 yards and 11 touchdowns. His numbers were superior to those of all other free-agent receivers. Decker is going to be pretty expensive to keep intact, but Anquan Boldin the aging wide out from San Francisco could be […]The post Anquan Boldin could be a cheap replacement for Eric Decker...

Nate Irving says on Twitter hideous new Broncos uniform design is “just a prototype”

Last week we brought you the news of a rumor gaining steam on Reddit that the Denver Broncos were going to be getting new uniforms from Nike, making them “the Oregon of the NFL.” Today, a design surfaced on Twitter and was tweeted at Broncos linebacker Nate Irving. @JusSayNate have u seen this atrocitie? pic.twitter.com/pp0TAQYivJ — bronco MAK (@jewmak420) February 12, 2014...

Team Best Pick – RB: Floyd Little was beast for Broncos

In this year-round National Football League, there’s never much time to rest. The Super Bowl was 10 days ago, yet, the NFL Draft is approaching rapidly. Of course, before then free agency starts up, and finding players to fill voids is a necessity. Could Knowshon Moreno be leaving the Broncos? It seems likely, meaning they’ll either have to look to free agency for a new running...

Champ Bailey says Chris Harris Jr. helped him with coverages

Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey returned to the lineup in December and spent a lot of time in the slot, pushing Chris Harris Jr. to the outside. The 15-year NFL veteran says Harris, a third-year pro, helped make the transition smooth. “You know, it’s funny because I find myself asking him little things about coverages, mostly,” Bailey said of reaching out to Harris Jr...

Chris Harris’ ACL was partially torn

var ACE_AR = {Site: '898551', Size: '468060', CallType: 'IFRAME'}; If there’s any good news when it comes to Chris Harris’ torn ACL,  it’s that it was only a partial tear, according to the Denver Post. All went about as well as an ACL surgery could go for Broncos cornerback Chris Harris. Dr. James Andrews learned during his surgery Thursday in Pensacola...

Broncos' blueprint: Another free agency run

(Eds: Adds details, quotes. With AP Photos.) By ARNIE STAPLETON AP Pro Football Writer John Elway's philosophy is to address immediate needs in free agency, even though some of his own veterans may prove too pricey to keep around. Eric Decker and Knowshon Moreno both said they'd love to stay in Denver, but they might find more lucrative offers elsewhere when free agency...

Denver columnist: Seahawks won the Super Bowl because they beat the Broncos "B teamers"

The Seahawks destroyed the Broncos in the Super Bowl by a final score of 43-8 in one of the worst blowouts in the game's history. Seattle was clearly the better team and there should be no debate about the outcome, and the meaning of it, right? Except if you're a Denver sports columnist. Mike Klis, of the Denver Post, posted an article on Sunday about how the Broncos...

Broncos extend John Elway's contract; add GM to title

In contract and title, the Broncos have extended their relationship with John Elway. The most famous employee in team history, Elway has received a three-year contract extension from the Broncos while also tacking on the title, "general manager" to his current position of executive vice president of football operations, according to an NFL source. Until the new deal,...

Should Seattle make a play for Knowshon Moreno?

The Denver Broncos may have some sore feelings over what happened to them at the Super bowl at the hands of the Seahawks. However, the NFL is a business and the best logic to operate by is if you can’t beat them, join them. When it comes to running backs, the Seahawks are luckier than most NFL teams. Marshawn Lynch may not be the very best in the league but he’s at least in the...

Fantasy Football Quarterback Review – Peyton Manning

Despite what can only be described as a horrific ending to an otherwise outstanding season when Peyton Manning threw for a Super Bowl record 34 completions which resulted in only 280 passing yards and a 43-08 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Manning was one of the most dominant quarterbacks from week 1 of 2013. The ride began September 5th when he faced the Baltimore Ravens in which...
