Wannstedt was a released after two seasons in Buffalo along with the entire coaching staff. He had memorable head coaching stints in the NFL with Miami and Chicago. His head coaching tenure at the University of Pittsburgh makes him no stranger to the Raymond James field when they would come to Tampa and play the USF Bulls.
