The general consensus has been that the Buccaneers will part ways with cornerback Eric Wright via a release. Today, Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Bucs are shopping Wright per sources.  Wright lost his grievance he filed to retain his 2013 salary from the Bucs after the legal process ruled against him. He was scheduled to make $7.75 million, fourth highest in the league (and higher than Darrelle Revis). In order for a Wright trade to happen though, Wright would have to have his contract restructured, which Florio also mentions. My belief is that the Buccaneers will wind up cutting him as previously reported. The idea of the Bucs possibly keeping Wright has been tossed around lately as a fall back option. But as Joe Bucs Fan mentions, this could mean that Tampa Bay is confident enough they will land Revis. Sure that’s speculative. But I agree. The post Report: Bucs looking to trade Eric Wright appeared first on The Bay Cave.
