Some unnamed NFL players are criticizing Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton for having a “diva” attitude. CBS Sports’ Senior NFL Columnist Pete Prisco is reporting that the grudge actually dates back to the way Newton acted around players and their families during the 2012 Pro Bowl last January. “He was a total @#!hole,” one AFC player said. “Who did he think he was? He acted like the big s^#t. Here he was at his first game and he acted like he was the star. Guys didn't like that.”
