Marc Trestman will be hired as the next head coach of the Chicago Bears, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
In five seasons, Trestman led Montreal to three Grey Cup appearances and two titles as head coach of the Alouettes.
Trestman was chosen over Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians, as well as Darrell Bevell, the offensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks, each of whom were considered finalists for the position as head coach in Chicago.

Though he’s served as the head coach of the Montreal Alouettes since 2008, Trestman has past experience in the NFC North.
He played for the Minnesota Vikings from 1979-80, was RBs coach in 1985-86 and took the QBs coach position from 1990-91.
