According to ESPN’s Ed Werder via ProFootballtalk.com, the Chiefs and Dolphins have “resumed dialogue” for a possible trade that would send Brandon Albert to Miami. The question now is which pick will the Dolphins give the Chiefs? The 42nd or 54th overall pick in this year’s draft? We’ll have to wait and see what happens. PFT also brings another obstacle both sides have to work on. There’s also the matter of Albert’s contract. He’s signed his franchise tender for the 2013 season, which guarantees him $9.828 million unless he signs a long-term deal. Getting such a deal done would seem to be necessary for the Dolphins to pull the trigger, although it is unclear if they are willing to meet Albert’s reported demands. Per Werder, Albert wants a deal worth $36 million over four years. Need NFL Tickets? The post Report: Chiefs, Dolphins “resume dialogue” regarding Brandon Albert appeared first on Pro Football Zone.
