NFL Trade Rumors:
Rich Cimini reports that the Chiefs have reached an agreement with free agent DE Mike DeVito.
DeVito gets a three-year deal worth $12.6 million and $6.2 million guaranteed. His base salary for the 2013 season should amount to $5.1 million.
The Jets had him as one of their top priorities, but the Chiefs really came out aggressive and made it a point to hammer out contracts early.
DeVito should allow them to part with Glenn Dorsey while maintaining a solid defensive front next season.
We had him listed as the No. 46 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.

According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Kansas City Chiefs are trying to trade quarterback Matt Cassel. If they can’t move him, they’ll be forced to cut him.
Chiefs are trying to trade Matt Cassel, I’m told. No surprise. Interested parties? Look at Vikings, Cardinals, Bucs. Otherwise he’ll be cut

I really do love Jets fans. We are such a miserable bunch. Ever the ultimate pessimists. You know what, though? It may actually be warranted this go-around. I’m pretty sure our 2013 Jets are going to be even tougher to watch then last year. That’s is a frightening thought. The good news is that Gang Green fans are very much looking forward...
The details are premature at this point, but unless the deal falls through, Darrelle Revis is most likely headed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers according to Jeff McClane of the Philadelphia Inquirer.
I’m hearing CB Darelle Revis will be traded to the Bucs. Details just need to be ironed out.

Ahmad Rashad blew this one in spectacular fashion. Sale Johnson, got over $100 million from her divorce with Jets owner Woody Johnson.
All Ahmad had to do was chill, be a good house husband and he could have spent her money, until he was in an old folks home, but he wanted to hang out with MJ and Tiger Woods. From that point on, Sale started to change the security codes and locks...
After a busy first day of free agency, the Miami Dolphins are not slowing down. Adam Schefter reported this morning that free agent tight end, Dustin Keller will meet with the Dolphins today. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, free agent defensive lineman Glenn Dorsey will visit the San Francisco 49ers. Chiefs DT Glenn Dorsey will be visiting the 49ers. — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 12, 2013 Some people would argue that Dorsey isn’t a good fit for a 3-4 defense, unless the Niners plan on using him in a different way than he was used with the Chiefs. ...
According to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, the Titans are expected to sign free agent running back Shonn Greene.
Indications are the #Titans plan to sign former #Jets RB Shonn Greene during his visit. I’m expecting this one to get done today as well

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the 49ers have reached an agreement with free agent DT Glenn Dorsey.
The Chiefs reportedly wanted to keep Dorsey, but after they signed Mike DeVito it became clear that Dorsey would most likely be playing elsewhere next season.

On Tuesday afternoon, an awkward situation occurred during an NFL Network broadcast of the show Total Access when a hot mic captured analyst Warren Sapp mumbling something in the background while Kansas City Chiefs general manager Scott Pioli was being interviewed on set by Scott Hanson.
Folks with much better ears than I not only attributed it to Warren Sapp but also have managed...

Via multiple reports defensive lineman Glenn Dorsey will visit the San Francisco 49ers. Dorsey who was the fifth pick in the 2008 draft by the Chiefs, is one of the hottest free agents available.
This would be a great pickup for the 49ers who lost nose tackle Isaac Sopoaga on the first day of free agency to the Eagles. The 49ers also could loss defensive end...
