Per a tweet from @NFLColts, the Indianapolis Colts official Twitter feed, head coach Chuck Pagano surprised the team today by visiting the complex and attending a team meeting. The 51-year old Pagano was diagnosed with leukemia in September and is expected to need four to six months of treatment. The support for Pagano has been widespread across the NFL, across all fanbases and organizations. During the first week the Colts played without him in which the team defeated the heavily favored Green Bay Packers in a miraculous comeback, the hashtag #ChuckStrong was trending on Twitter. Pagano was replaced by Colts’ offensive coordinator Bruce Arians and have gone an inspiring 3-1 in his absence, including an overtime victory over the Tennessee Titans with an electrifying “Superman” touchdown dive by running back Vick Ballard. Pagano started in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns in 2001 as the secondary coach, transitioned to defensive backs coach for the Oakland Raiders in 2004, and then joined the Baltimore Raven in 2008, serving as defensive secondary coach, then defensive coordinator. The Colts hired him as their head coach earlier this year, replacing 3-year head coach Jim Caldwell.   Follow us on Twitter @DownandDistance Down and Distance Columnist - Shane Richardson @Shaner021The post REPORT: Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano Surprises Colts at Team Meeting appeared first on DOWN & DISTANCE.
