Found March 28, 2013 on NFL Trade Rumors:
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Philadelphia Eagles have traded FB Stanley Havili to the Indianapolis Colts for DE Clifton Geathers. With the Eagles signing James Casey, who’s more of a versatile player, Havili was largely expendable now that they’ve brought in Chip Kelly as their new head coach. Havili, 25, was rated as a slightly above average fullback last season by Pro Football Focus. Overall, he’s much better blocker than a pass-catching option out of the backfield. Geathers, 25, was limited to playing just 152 snaps for the Colts last season and was largely ineffective. He does have experience playing 3-4 defensive end, so there’s a chance they could develop him into a decent player at some point.
