Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports now reports via Twitter Wednesday night that Dallas Cowboys free agent linebacker Victor Butler is scheduled to visit Pittsburgh on Thursday. Butler, an outside linebacker, has played in 63 games for the Cowboys over the course of the last four seasons. Only twice did he start, however. The Pittsburgh Steelers continue on Tuesday with their yearly process of signing their own free agents as Bob Labriola reports on Twitter that fullback/tight end David Johnson has been re-signed to a one year contract. AFC North 2013 Free Agency Day Two Recap

Wednesday wasn't as busy of a day around the AFC North as most of the splash was made on Tuesday. There were a few moves in the division, however, and here is your recap of day two. Steelers should consider adding Ed Reed

Historically the Rooney family does not target the free agent market heavily. When they do, it is generally free agents which are picked to fill specific roles at a cheap price. Do not expect this off season to be much different considering Pittsburgh’s salary cap issues. While releasing James Harrison and others helps, they are still hindered and can’t go after quality free...

Rotoworld: It’s Official the Pittsburgh Steelers Release Willie Colon with a June Designation

According to Rotoworld and Spotrac the Pittsburgh Steelers have released offensive lineman Willie Colon. Colon has played right tackle and left guard for the Steelers and is a very good run blocker. However, his last three seasons have ended on injured reserve and his cap number was too large for the Steelers to keep around. The Steelers resigned Ramon Foster yesterday who will take...

The Pittsburgh Steelers are Expected to Release Willie Colon Today

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been expected to make multiple cuts since the off-season started and Willie Colon has been expected to be one of those players. According to Mary Kay Cabot of The Plain Dealer on Twitter, the Cleveland Browns haven't yet expressed interest in signing Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Keenan Lewis, who is scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent in a matter of a few hours. This disputes an earlier report from over the weekend that stated the Browns indeed had interest in the Steelers 2009 third-round draft...

Steelers re-sign Larry Foote

The Steelers have been silent this offseason so far, except for the loss of Mike Wallace of course. They need to bring some veterans back while getting younger through the draft. The Steelers ended up re-signing linebacker Larry Foote, who is a solid player that the Steelers could use as depth.  He still has some gas in his tank. Steelers deal with LB Larry Foote was 3 yr/$5.5...

After his Washington Redskins teammate and friend Lorenzo Alexander signed a new deal with the Arizona Cardinals, London Fletcher used Twitter to vent his frustration and took a shot at the NFL. @nfl @nflpa would it be a salary cap violation for the @redskins to sign free agents with Monopoly money? #cappenalty #thanks4nothing — London Fletcher (@LFletcher59) March 13, 2013 I...
