Defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins has been going on a free agency tour, meeting with potential teams across the league. This includes the 49ers, who met with the former Eagle and Packer on Tuesday. And now the Raiders appear to be interested.
From NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport:
After visiting the #Seahawks yesterday (went well), DT Cullen Jenkins is with #49ers today. Set to visit #Raiders tomorrow, I’m told.

The Raiders could certainly use the skills and experience of Jenkins, 32, on their slashed defensive line. And Reggie McKenzie also goes back with Jenkins during their time together in Green Bay.
But can the Raiders afford him? Oakland’s cap space is tight as it is. And with the apparent popularity Jenkins has on the market a team is likely going to overpay to get him. But Oakland does have the McKenzie and playing time selling points in its favor, so maybe there’s hope the team could get him on a discount. The Raiders can dream, right?
